Wowcher complaint: Wowcher keeps my £300 after redeeming time expired

My complaint:

I ordered a denim dress and a velvet ottoman double bed from Wowcher and failed to redeem due to illness, which meant that Wowcher retains my money and I get no product. I would never have signed up to this company if I’d known that they take my money without any obligation to provide a product, if I don’t redeem in time. There is no way to speak to a customer service advisor, so when I contacted them on WhatsApp, it took them many hours to respond by message, which I missed and they just said that offer has expired, with no recourse to a refund due to illness. This situation is outrageously unfair, especially as I am on a very low income due to disability.

Suggested solution:

They should at least allow me to purchase the bed with my original £300! If they do not, I shall launch a media campaign to warn all Wowcher customers that they could lose their money if the purchas time expires! So unfair that Wowcher do not make this very clear before you buy a Wowcher code.
