My complaint:
we stayed at the Indigo Hotel in Liverpool where omg hotels placed us- I was disappointed with the standard of the hotel, it is probably the worst 4 hotel in Liverpool!!
I paid wowcher £72.50 original payment on Wowcher then another £69.00 direct to omg £141.50 (£34.00 Beatles story tickets) so hotel price £107.50 when the price inc. B B was £60.00 as per reception price. I could have booked a hotel with spa facilities as requested for only £84 on that date!
The beds were so uncomfortable ( like water beds so soft and very high from the ground) that my husband and I hardly slept therefore we cut short our stay in Liverpool due to back spine pain
Another issue I have with OMG- when I made the booking through Wowcher it clearly misled ‘a special offer package’ book hotel room 4 hotel Sun- Mon, £69.00 B B inc. The Beatles Story Experience- when I asked at the Indigo hotel reception they said the Beatles Story has nothing to do with the hotel!
Actually, on my booking form it asked our ages, mine 55-59, my husband 60 was clearly stated on the hotel booking form- admission to the Beatles Story for 60 is £13.50, they knew this yet I was charged £17.00. At breakfast we were given an option to pay an additional £3 p.p. for English breakfast otherwise we were offered continental breakfast which was very poor for choice of food, Another con!!!
Suggested solution:
All I want is an explaination to why they charge so much over the actual rate and yet cal it a special 'deal' and a refund for the amount overpaid to wowcher.
Future customers need to know this dirty trick this is why I have contacted you as wowcher have stated no refund was due!
Please advise me whether I should contact 'Rip off Britain team' or Watchdog?
