My complaint:
Receipt number: 34056697. Voucher No. 35458988. Purchased voucher for £189.00 which was for 2 night break in Harrogate and I was going to redeem this January 2021. Due to Covid 19 unable to book. Notification received later from Wowcher to say they were redeeming voucher March 2021 and I would receive less than I paid. Contacted them via email and they agreed to credit my account with £189.00. I have now noticed my account has been debited with this amount on 28th April 2021, without informing me, and I still could not use the voucher as the Country was still in lock down due to Covid 19.
Suggested solution:
I still want to use this voucher for a 2 night stay in Harrogate and the money should be refunded to my account for this purpose.
It makes me wonder how many other people have been in the same position and had their money taken from them without prior warning.
