I ordered a pair of boots from Wish.com. I received a package containing a pair of boots that bore NO resemblance to the ones I ordered – wrong size, colour and style, and nothing else inside, not an invoice or return slip. Nothing except the wrong item.
I contacted Wish Customer Support and uploaded photographs as requested of the item received, the inner and outer packaging, the tracking label and customs label. I have received the same message several times: In order for us to proceed with the process, we need a clear photo of the packaging and including the shipping label. After we review the image, we can initiate a refund for your purchase. but nothing further happens. I don’t want a refund and haven’t asked for one, but nothing has happened in that regard anyway. I would like the item I originally ordered, but I haven’t been told whether that will happen or not. I would be happy to return the unwanted item, but have no return label, and Wish has not asked me to do that either.
The computer generated messages are unhelpful and misleading as they allow the customer to think that someone is looking into their case, but clearly this is not happening.
Wish should send me the item I ordered. If for any reason that is not possible (for example, if the item is no longer available) they should issue a refund. I feel it would also be reasonable to ask me to return the wrong item and for them to help me with that process.
