My complaint:

On Saturday my daughter and I stopped at Winn Dixie to pick up a few things. While shopping we had an encounter by the refrigerator section the orange juice. There was a cart in the middle of the aisle which is no big deal but in front of this cart on the floor was a clear plastic wrap with 4 bottles of lemonade in it. So you can’t see it because the cart is in the way. I went to get orange juice and fell into the door of the juice and my foot was caught on the plastic wrap. My daughter then picked up the plastic wrap and bottles and placed them on the cart before someone else fell. There was an elderly lady right there if she would have fallen she would have been seriously hurt.

I spoke to the manager and all he said was I will go talk to whoever is stocking over there. When we were there nobody was there stocking but this cart. He never once asked if I was hurt or ok. He never asked if there was anything they can do. Nothing just I will talk to them. No I wasn’t seriously hurt. But my right arm is tender due to hitting the handle on the door. My left groin area because my leg was behind me so I pulled something. This truly could have ended badly.

I think the managers should be trained to do incidental reports for legal reasons. If anyone got hurt we always filled out paperwork and they signed it stating they were ok. I look forward to hearing from someone in regards to this matter and hopefully getting something put in place.

Suggested solution:

Putting any complaints in writing and have them signed
