My complaint:
I understand Winn Dixie is no longer doing pharmacy because it was bought out by Aldi‘s. That’s all fine and good but my information without my consent was given to Walgreens, which goes against my privacy act of who has my information. I cannot use Walgreens which is the pharmacy that you chose to be my new pharmacy because my insurance is not taken at Walgreens CVS who does take my insurance? Should not be the one who contacts Walgreens to get my information I should’ve been informed that you were no longer doing pharmaceutical, and I should’ve been given the right to whom has my. My medical and prescription information, I know you said you were legally bound to give my information to another pharmacy, but you won against the privacy act by doing it without my consent. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau with the privacy act commission, and I will be taking legal action against Winn Dixie due to the fact that you should never of given out my information without my consent.
Suggested solution:
I deserve an apology, as does everybody else that you did this to because you did not have the right to give any information out to anybody regarding my personal or medical information
