My complaint:

I’m a regular customer at wegmans, love the store, great employees, food always fresh, I have been to many different locations. They never fail to please. But today I felt that I was racially profiled. ( I am an African American older woman )
Went through self checkout line I was the only one checking out on that specific side. There were other customers checking out in the other self checkout line on the other side. The employee came and stood directly in front of me as though she thought I was not going to scan all of my groceries mind you in the past there have been times when I overlooked scanning an item and made it a point to take the item back into the store in order to pay for it. I’m not the one to steal, Felt very disrespected. I’m sure over the past years I’ve spent thousands of dollars at wegmans. Not a good feeling and disappointing. I did watch for a while to see if anyone else was watched, but after I was all checked out the employee who was watching me walked away. I’m an honest person. So while she was watching me someone was probably stealing.
