My complaint:
I ordered a four piece outdoor furniture set, totaling over $1100.00. When the boxes were delivered, my husband realized we were missing all of the cushions, along with both sides of the couch and a couple back pieces. In addition to ALL of the missing parts, one of the single chair back pieces was damaged, causing a loose fitting back to the chair. I put in a request for the missing and damaged parts. They were scheduled to arrive in May 4th. In May 3rd, I called to inquire about the tracking because I found it alarming I was not able to track the replacement parts on the app. I was then i formed they needed more information regarding the order, which I provided to them. I was then told the estimated delivery would be May 11th. I just called for the second time today, May 7th, because again I was not able to track the replacement parts and found it alarming. I was then informed I needed to upload photos of the half out together furniture. Why was this not brought to my attention? The customer service rep emailed me, and I then uploaded the photos while I was on the phone with her. This was the first I have heard of any additional info or photos they required in order to process my replacement parts! I am now told I should hear in 72 hours about the estimated delivery of my parts. I am not holding my breath, as I was told this the first time I called. I am extremely disappointed in the follow up on Wayfair’s end regarding my purchase. This was not a small purchase for us, and I was willing to overlook the missing parts and even damaged parts considering the state of the country right now. But what I can not forgive is the back and forth, and lack of communication regarding what is required to fulfill my order! I plan on sharing my complaint with complain.biz.
Suggested solution:
I would be extremely satisfied if I was refunded some of the money from this order, for the extreme inconvenience and time and energy this has taken from me. If the parts do not come soon, I plan on returning whatever pieces I actually have. I would be satisfied with anything over 20% off this purchase. Not only am I not satisfied with the damaged arrival, the missing parts and the lack of communication is beyond frustrating.
