My complaint:

I purchased a summerhouse promising free uk delivery in March. Paid the whole amount. Received emails from manufacturers saying there would be a delay and I would receive it on the week beginning 19th July.

Two days ago I received an email from Wayfair saying they had cancelled the order and were refunding my money. I wrote to manufacturer and to Wayfair offering to pay for delivery. This was turned down by Wayfair with the reason the company does not deliver to my area AB. The summerhouse was removed from their website the following day but other products by the company are being advertised with free uk delivery. Both companies are at fault but I hold Wayfair responsible for breaching the contract and failing to deliver my purchase. In the meantime the price of the summerhouse doubled during the three months since my purchase.

Suggested solution:

I now have to find another manufacturer who will deliver to my area and it will cost more because of the rise in the price of timber.

I have suffered damage as a result of the practises of Wayfair making promises they did not keep.

I seek some form of adequate compensation.
