My complaint:
On August 10, 2023, I slipped and fell on some water puddles in the store. I filed a complaint with the store mgr name Monica. She took pictures and had an employee to mop it up. I recently got a call from their claims dept telling me that since they didn’t know about the puddle before I fell that they weren’t going to do anything about it. I didn’t know about it until I slipped in it. Walmart is acting like I on purposely looked for the puddle to slip in before shopping. Because of this fall I am in pain. They refuse to accept responsibility for what happened to me. I think that it’s only but fair that I at least be compensated for my pain and suffering. They refuse to accept responsibility. They have lost me as a customer.
Suggested solution:
Acknowledge that they have failed with risk and safety mgt protocols and at least pay me for pain and suffering. It's costing me my sleep at nights.
