My complaint:

Store02491 Danville, Illinois I go into Walmart today to shop. I’m sick and tired of the discrimination with receipt checks. This has been going on for years. Today I obviously had 1 bag and 2 items too large for any kind of bag. While I was on my way to complete a business transaction with a sales guy in front of the store. The doorman JOE literally walked in front of me blocking me to check my receipt because the two items can’t fit in one. While waiting on the sales guy. I called Joe out on letting other people walk pass him without checking their receipt, specifically customers not of color. He always has an attitude and specifically targets people of color and especially African American males. Everytime my father and I shop there he does the same thing even with bagged items. This has been going on for too long and something needs to be done. He literally goes out of his way to make customers experience uncomfortable and today I now feel like I don’t want to shop there anymore while Joe is there. I make good money and don’t have a reason to steal. That’s what jobs are for and I don’t appreciate being made out to be a criminal or thief. I’m tired of Joe’s attitude and disrespect. Just like Sam’s Club, everyone needs to have a receipt check. It should not be at their discretion to pick and choose who they want and don’t want to check at the door.

Suggested solution:

As a longtime shopper an apology is in order and management needs to get Joe under control with his treatment of others.
