My complaint:

On June 14th at approximately 8:00PM, I went to walmart in reference to purchasing a television. I went back to electronics and saw a 75 Samsung QLED Q60 4K Smart TV wHDR on clearance for $1,123.50. The attendant was very helpful and stated that it actually was going for $836.00, less 25 % since it was the last one mounted on the wall, but I had to come back to talk to a supervisor. She removed the tag and put my name and phone number on the clearance paperwork. I was excited. The next day I spoke to Brian, Electronics team lead, who explained to me that Samsung had to remove the tv from the wall and he wasn’t sure when that would be. Brian suggested that I check back but that he had my name and phone number and would contact me as soon as the tv was removed from the wall. Brian ed that this tv was going for $836.00 less 25%. I called at least 3 times and each time I spoke to Brian, Electronics team lead, and each time he stated that Samsung has not arrived. Approximately 3 days after my last phone call, I walked in to Walmart and went to electronics, I noticed that the tv’s had been removed from the wall and new and bigger tv’s had been installed. I was excited as I would finally be picking up my tv after two weeks. The attendant told me that Brian was on break and would be back in one hour. I went back home to get my SUV so I could pick up the 75 Samsung TV. When I returned to the store I met up with Brian and he told me that they could not hold tv’s for customers and that he sold the tv to another customer. He stated that it was store policy that they could not hold tv’s for customers but we had talked at least four times and he never informed me of this, if fact, just the opposite, he informed me that he would not only hold the tv for me but in fact call me once Samsung removed the tv from the wall. I asked for the store manager and he directed me to Mr. Soloman, who did not really have an answer and did not even apologize to me. Brian tried to put the blame on the initial person (did not get her name) that I came in contact with but I felt that he should take the brunt of the blame because he never once told me that you could not hold tv’s for customers. Just for your information, I also attempted to pay for the tv on each conversation but was told that they could not receive payment until the tv was released. Me and my family have been loyal customers with Wal-mart for many years but never was I deceived like this before. REALLY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER.

Suggested solution:

Sell me a 75 QLED Q60 4K Smart TV wHDR for the same price of $836.00 less 25% off.
