My complaint:

On Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 2:30 p.m., we were checking out at terminal number 4 and the woman that checked us out (operator 000106) licked her fingers to open every bag and then, of course, handled every item that we bought. We were appalled at what was happening. On the way home we wondered what we should do, take a chance of getting covid-19 or disinfect every item. We did disinfect every item which was a buggy full! We feel that this kind of behavior is the quickest way to transmit a virus. We feel this is the same as spitting. They should have on revery register fingertip moisturizer. There is no excuse for putting others at risk, especially a person with underlying disorders such as COPD, which my husband has, who was there with me and was handling every bag. We should have left everything just sitting there and refuse to pay for it. The mask that we are supposed to wear according to the CDC should cover both nose and mouth and not be pulled under the chin. If my husband with breathing problems can wear a mask properly, then everyone should be able to.

Suggested solution:

Furnish fingertip moisturizer to everyone that runs a register and enforce them to use the moisturizer and the proper wearing of mask because if it happens again, we will leave everything sitting and will leave. The pandemic is NOT over. Our experience has caused us a lot of worry for ourselves and others.
