My complaint:
What a nightmare!!!! The “host” contacted me at 1:00 today…THE DAY OF OUR CHECK IN…we had asked for an early check in, we have 4 couples in our group. Nichole called and said laughingly that we might not be able to check in until 4 because the people there had not left.
I told her we were all there, after driving over 3 hours, she said she would find us something else if they would not leave. An hour later I get a call from her mother…telling me it was “her fault” as she booked the house for a group staying for a week, and “forgot” to tell her daughter. So…she said she would get us another place…she then called back and said that VRBO would not allow her to make a reservation BUT she talked to VRBO and they said because of the situation they would get us a house today.
So I called VRBO and was put on hold for 30 minutes, with someone I could not even understand…then put on hold another 20 minutes…to be told that VRBO policy does not allow to make same day reservations! But would put us up in the cheapest hotel available for the night..and then book us in another house tomorrow…the house they found was going to cost more for the ONE NIGHT than we were originally going to pay for 2 nights!!!
This was a horrible experience!! And ..then host posts that my reservation was cancelled because of “the property not being ready when guest wanted to check in”. A total LIE! Is this the type of service and people you support??? So…we begged and made calls and are bumming off a friend …yes, the host refunded our money but we were still left out in the cold with no place to go!!!!!
Very dissatisfied…with both the host and VRBO with how this was handled!!!!!

Submit to VRBO…have tired writing a review, contacting VRBO, just put on hold, or review denied
