My complaint:

I SENT THE FOLLOWING EMAIL TO VENMO AND THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING:
Please respond to my dispute request ASAP. I don’t know who the person is that used my bank debit card without my permission but they did 5 charges for Venmo. I have never used Venmo and probably never will after this. I did just now set up an account on the app because your website made it sound like I had to, to do a dispute. Your website is very confusing. I tried calling but couldn’t get anyone on the phone to help me. The only reason I learned of the fraudulent charges on my bank account is because I received a fraud on my phone yesterday morning asking if I just did a charge for Venmo for $10 and I responded NO immediately and then looked at my account and realized 4 more charges have been made on my bank account.

No one else has access to my bank account and I, nore anyone else in my family uses VenmO and does not have access to my debit card. I contacted my bank and they will not intervene because you are a 3rd party. My bank account is not overdrawn because of the asshole who did these charges on my card. I want it investigated and I want the person responsible for the fraud prosecuted. I want this investigated immediately and I want the money back in my checking account immediately. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone at Venmo to help me, your chat system is not helpful and your website does not make it easy to file a dispute and is very confusing, especially at such a stressful upsetting time like this.

Suggested solution:

REFUND MY MONEY. I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I AM NOT EVEN A CUSTOMER OF VENMO AND MY BANK DEBIT CARD HAS BEEN USED THROUGH FRAUD TO MAKE 5 VENMO TRANSFERS TOTALING $200.
