My wife took bmw x5 to shop for oil change, a few days later engine warning light came on and we noticed oil on driveway, took car to bmw repair shop and they found drain plug leaking. they found damage to oil pan hole threads. $420 repair…
shop is saying disclaimer on rear of receipt calls for customer to return damaged vehicle for inspection or they wont be responsible. Called manager and customer service and they will not pay…the so called disclaimer in on rear of reciept and not easy to see and not presented to customer until after the service is done and paid for…
Deceptive and not allowing customer to agree before service is provided…also not worded well.
Suggested solution:
upon payment of $420 for damaged
