My complaint:
USAA closed my account September 1st, 2022, I am fine with that. They are illegally withholding my founds for up to 60 days. I have no overdraft or pending payments that they can use as a excuse to hold my money. They are even holding my disability pay (I am a 100% disabled veteran) and I can’t pay my bills. USAA did NOT give me any warnings or time to allocate my founds elsewhere before they closed my account. I tried to contact them in several occasions to resolve this issue but all they say is it can take up to 60 days for me to receive a check in the mail. They are holding my founds illegally and they are putting my financial situation and credit in jeopardy.
Suggested solution:
I will received my money this upcoming week (September 20th, 2022), I need a written apology for jeopardizing my financial situation and not supporting disabled veterans. I will need interest paid on my founds for the time they have hold them illegally. Then I will be satisfied.
