My complaint:
On July 5th, 2020 I called for an Uber to pick me up at Vons. I was matched with a driver and waited 45 minutes. I finally got a message that the driver cancelled and they would look for another driver. About 12 hour later there was no one to pick me up. I was told again that there was no driver available. I had to ask a stranger if they would drive me home and I paid $20.00 for the ride. I am also disabled and VERY PUT OUT by Uber for putting me in that position. Why did this happen and does Uber have to pay me back my $20.00?
Suggested solution:
Don't make promises they cannot fullfill and call me to apology. Since I know no one will call me to apologize, I want Uber to reimburse the $20 out of pocket I had to shell out to get home.
