My complaint:
On 15th Dec around 5pm I ordered from Iceland viz Uber Eats several groceries and paid about £37. Order number 6062B. After waiting an hour, the drive came with incorrect item – only a bottle of milk and a chocolate bar – both of which i never ordered. When i asked the driver, he said that this is what the store gave and that i have to deal with the store. I refused to accept the wrong item. I tried to contact uber eats but there is no option to report undelevred item or refund and no support to call them. I contacted Iceland and the sfaff there said that it was drivers mistake, that he picked the wrong bag – and that they cannot help either and i should contact uber (which proved impossible). The fact that the driver didnt want to help suggests that he was a fraud. He could go back and return the item. But he didnt do that. The fact that Uber have to duty of care to refund or deal with the non-delivery is suggestive of fraud from their part. I would request this matter is delt and my refund delivered.
Suggested solution:
Contact with Uber eats and refund from Uber Eats.
