My complaint:
I received a call from driver. He couldn’t speak English and I couldn’t understand him. I was trying to communicate with him but he wasn’t understanding me. I sent messages and he never replied. This guy obviously couldn’t even follow directions on his phone. I could see him on the app just driving in circles. It was ridiculous and then he just made the order that it was delivered.
Suggested solution:
I did get my money credited as an e-gift card. But there is no avenue to report him as totally incompetent. Whilst happy to have it credited it meant I waited around for ages and received no food.
This driver should be educated to at least understand basic English and be able to follow directions on his app. He was rude and hopeless and lied on the app about delivering order. Not a good look for Uber Eats.
