Uber Eats complaint: False advertising

My complaint:

I have on numerous occasions but most recently today received a notification on my app stating I should open the app to receive 50% off on my next order..needless to say I didn’t bother to prepare dinner for my family as I was planning to use the promotion I had been promised.
Upon opening my app and searching in every section I can’t find anywhere it stating ANYTHING ABOUT MY 50% which I was promised. Clearly misleading and false advertising to try to click air me into using Uber eats, I’ve had problems with them before but this takes the biscuit! After emailing Uber eats twice I received a response 2 hours later stating they wasn’t going to help me and NO NEED TO REPLY!

Suggested solution:

They need to stop false advertising and if they offer a promotion they need to keep they’re word!! It could be the difference between people going shopping to get dinner or staying home and for me this was the case as I am very busy but out of principal I will not be ordering from Uber eats again! As I say it’s not the first time this has happened
