My complaint:
I’ve been homeless and staying at this shelter this will be my third night I understand bags need to be search for weapons the man in charge has been in my face since I arrive he’s done nothing but yell accuse me of Not following apparently his rules the last two nights in the dinning room I brought my purse in with me had no problems ate slept and had breakfast I was also told there was a women’s smoking area in the back I asked if I could sit in my vehicle in the front and smoke a cigarette and I was told ok so I did I was not allowed to eat a meal tonight as I refuse to give my purse with money and my personal stuff in it to anyone I’ve a huge victim of identity theft fraud I’m shocked this man thinks I’m not cooperating with the rules but been told conflicting information it’s horrible to to homeless and have someone else degrade you insult your disability and humility you
Suggested solution:
I’m not sure I’m grateful to have a hot meal shower and a bed out of the weather but I’m sure holding on to my purse having diner can not be against the rules when I was allowed to do it two night prior I’ve been told men are allowed in the front to smoke women in the back but honestly we ate meals together I’m crying over this how sad
