The Range complaint: ‘re glass mugs sold as suitable for tea and coffee at £1.29

My complaint:

Two glass mugs were purchased on the 4 April 22 stating that they were suitable for tea and coffee. My partner suffered severe scalding on his foot when he poured boiling water into one of these mugs which shattered.
We had to go to Minor injurys Unit in St Austell to get the burn seen to.
I took the unbroken unused mug back to the store in Par who refunded me for that one and advised me to make contact regarding this incident directly to yourselves. I am not concerned about the monetary reimbursement, however, my partner has been in severe discomfort since this occurred and I would like the glass mugs (which were purchased for my daughter who was going to take them back to Uni with her. Her Dad is now going to have scarring from this.

Suggested solution:

I would like you to absolutely ensure that these mugs are Ok to use with boiling water as clearly this one wasn't ! Or take them off your shelves before someone more vulnerable gets scalded.
