My complaint:
I shop at Lowes most of the time and they give veterans a discount. My information is on file by my name and phone number. All I have to do is give them the number and they pull it up, give me my discount but not Home Depot. They insist on taking a photo of my VA card to my phone and then scanning it at the register and I said I have my card with me, but it did not matter, they insisted on the phone scan which I never do! So, no discount and as a result I will not shop at Home Depot ever again. They sent me a credit card form LOL, but they lost my business over this. These scans are a way to access your personal info and they know it.
Suggested solution:
Change their veteran's policy and do it like their competitor, Lowes, and if not, then I will never shop there again. Jack Williams, Piney Flats, Tn.
