My complaint:

I placed an order for delivery via telephone on Thursday, September 24, 2020. When I told them I was using a gift card the person I spoke to took the number and told me that I had a balance due. He asked me if I wanted to pay over the phone and I told him that I would pay the driver the remaining balance and tip him in cash. Once the delivery person came, who was very rude as was the person on the phone who he contacted to resolve the matter, I was told I owed the full amount. I told him that I paid for part of my order with a gift card and he said that no gift card was used. Well, after the call centre took my order and supposedly processed my gift card, I threw it away. I ended up having to pay the full amount but now I am out of 30 something dollars on my gift card I threw away due to it not being processed. When calling the call centre we were sent to 4 different individuals and not a single person would answer our question and gave us the run around.

Suggested solution:

I want whatever money was on the gift card given back to me on a new gift card because the original card was thrown away.
