My complaint:

On Sunday, July 25, 2020 around 6:00 PM, i picked up a take out order at the Promenade Swiss Chalet. I purchased the family pack whole chicken with ten wings, 3 kale ceasar’s salads and 2 bowls of chicken noodle soup. Unfortunately, one of the bowls of chicken noodle soup had a one inch rigid bone in it that got caught in the back of my mouth which I was able to dislodge by coughing up. I have the bone (saved it). I am lucky I did not choke to death. And, Swiss Chalet is also lucky.

Suggested solution:

I can lodge a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs as I am very concerned that this could happen again to me or to someone more vulnerable.

I am not sure what measures you can employ to preclude this from re-occurring. As a start I would ytake your chicken souop off the menu until the problem is resolved.

Yes, I am looking for compensation.
