My complaint:

Hello my name is Maisha Grant and I have worked for Sunglass Hut for 3 years back in 2017, 2018 and 2019. I’m moved back to Las Cruces New Mexico after working in the Sunglass Hut in the water Tower Place in Chicago Illinois in 2020. And got rehired at Sunglass Hut in 2022, recently. In my past working in Chicago Illinois I had a very good experience. I would always rave about how much I loved Sunglass Hut and working in the Chicago location was actually my favorite job of all time. Fast forward to 2022 when I got rehired in Las Cruces New Mexico I got hired by Angela who is the manager at the kiosk here in Las Cruces New Mexico. During my interview Angela expressed her need for new employees because she had a problem keeping her new employees. I know she had one other person working with her under a casual part-time position and then Michael and I, where the new hires. We got four days of training. Of which were the videos that we train with in Leonardo. None of which were the virtual videos because Angela did not know how to schedule them for us. I feel like those were a crucial part of our training and we didn’t get to participate. Meanwhile we were thrown into opening and closing by ourselves after getting a little to no training. And expected to do these things on our own. Angela briefly trained us and would send us videos over text messages that were very blurry to train us. I expressed my concerns which none of were addressed. I personally don’t think Angela is a good manager and I’m very upset that I turned in my keys and quit because I loved my experience in Chicago and working in the Las Cruces Location was a whole other experience, that I was not expecting. I truly value and love your company as a whole and wanted to address the situation because it feels important to me.
