My complaint:
I have been a straight talk customer for years!!! The phone I have I bought online from a private party and was an unlocked phone, I activated it thru straight talk 3 yrs ago. I was offered one year for free phone service and 29 a month after the year thru my current internet provider, so I decided to switch but spectrum informed me that my phone was locked and I needed to call straight talk to have it unlocked. I called them and they refused to unlock it, said it could not be unlocked until June 2025. They are controlling there customers, forcing people to stay with them or spend hundreds of dollars buying a new phone to switch to another company. Someone needs to stand against them to let them know it isn’t right!!!! I am standing against them and will never use straight talk ever again. I would rather spend hundreds of dollars buying a new phone then giving straight talk another penny
