My complaint:
On Thursday evening May 6 between the hours of 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM I was shopping at the Bedford location on great road. I was experiencing a female emergency and any female will know what I mean by that and having to deal with it in a not clean enough bathroom makes you feel like you need to take 100 showers in bed and sanitation I took photos of how filthy this restroom was took photos of the empty soap dispenser took photos of the log sheet not being signed For the entire day of May 6, I’ve been asked to speak to a female manager so she can understand where my frustration and discuss this coming from her name is Sarah she blatantly lied to my face when I asked if there were employee bathrooms because later on I asked numerous employees if they had separate employee bathrooms she told me that the filth was from two days customers I said I was not born yesterday and absolutely not even possible freight mess, filth and grime to build up in one day, I told her any respectable female would never enter a bathroom like that and leave it in the same condition being a female you can’t help it but make some type of improvement, I was obviously crying while having this conversation with her 30 minutes 60 minutes in 90 minutes after my complaint I checked on the bathroom not one change was made she is a manager and never even attempted to clean one of the messes I have found I’m sorry but in a town where people are spending millions and billions of dollars on homes are a one grocery store can’t even manage to keep their bathroom up to health code I’m sorry but especially being in COVID-19 days sanitation, over exaggerating with cleaning times and amount of sanitation used should be a number one priority I am a polished, dumbfounded and so disgusted with the condition about restroom she didn’t even offer me anything not that I would take it because I am 19 years in the hospitality industry, I didn’t even want to complain about this but this is above and beyond a disgrace and at some point it’s going to get somebody sick I couldn’t understand How she wasn’t understanding how serious of an issue this is she’s lucky I didn’t call the Board of Health I’m on the “” stop and shop website filing a complain
Suggested solution:
In all honesty if Sarah the manager on duty who lied numerous times to my face isn’t held accountable That will just add fuel to my fire I would love it if you could make her clean the bathroom from top to bottom by herself And only let her use that bathroom for the entire day no employee bathroom actually using that filthy grimy bathroom
