I was in stop and shop Address: 779 McGrath Hwy, Somerville, MA 02145 around 6 Pm 6 19 2022 to return some items but I didn’t have the receipt with me, as I know that the store policy say :
If the item you’re returning costs less than $20, you can return it for a full refund, with or without a receipt, according to our communications with the company. If the item cost more than $20, you can return it for a full refund with a receipt; without a receipt, you may be eligible for store credit. Stop Shop may also offer the option to replace your product rather than get a refund.
When the costumer service gentlemen started to scan the items a supervisor called Christine walked behind me to see what’s going on , and then she stopped the cashier to refund me the items and she said that the items are expired and she didn’t even looked at the item meanwhile I showed one of the items to her and told her that the items are not expired, she called her manager his name Kenneth , and she said that she cannot return this items with a rude manner while profiling me ,and without professionalism , it’s kinda discrimination toward me . There is 2 people witnessed the incident .
I’m not looking for a compensation or anything else .To resolve the problem, I would appreciate if you can address the supervisor called Christine for an apology to me for the bad manners and unprofessionalism toward me .
