My complaint:
We shopped and then when we went to the register, the clerk said that the coupon policy had recently changed (according the SS website January). She called the front end manager who told me that they no longer take self-printed coupons (again false according the website).

She then accused me of stealing and passing off copied coupons despite the fact that this is not my regular store. She then called the manager over who rudely began to accuse me of stealing (How do I know that you really have the item? You have done this to us before). I was mortified since customers began to watch and they both were extremely rude as I tried to tell that this wasnt my regular store (I shop here approximately 2x a year).
They began to look through my coupons and point out things (such one per order- only had one coupon, one item; this isnt the same picture- but it was for Colgate toothpaste [4 oz or larger). It seemed to me that they were looking for any excuse not to assist me with my order. I was asked to put my items with coupons on the cashier area (they were bagged by now) and the manager was grumbling and asking me why I didnt go to my regular store? And saying, this is ridiculous.
My daughter asked if it was just easier for us to leave without our groceries, to which she responded, yes, please leave! and the front end manager rudely said BYE BYE! as I walked past her. I have never in my life been treated so poorly and humiliated in my life.
I will never shop it that store again!
I have called customer service and told that a district manager would call me back (that was more than three weeks ago) so I guess that they dont care about how their customers are treated! This was Store 2596 in Mount Kisco, NY.

Apologize and compensated since I had to drive to my regular store with no problems
