My complaint:
They rented a rv for my dog and I because we were homeless living in my little car for several yrs. Water heater was contaminated and I spent 4 days in hospital. Code enforcement said minimal standard housing laws didn’t apply because no permit for address. Was no lot 7 recorded and had a hard time getting mail etc. Landlord finally agreed to mutually end lease. St Vincent was supposed to have another place for me. It’s been over a month back in my car in fl with Temps a real feel of over 100 every day. They have deposit from other place but are not helping me get another place. Says I have to start over because I wasn’t grateful enough. I have pictures and documented everything along the way. We are going to die out here. 53 yrs old with health problems. They received alot of money in my name and I’m homeless with nothing.
Suggested solution:
By getting us in a decent place. They signed a contract and got paid for doing nothing. I'm grateful for the help they gave me but it's not finished. I'm still homeless and out of hope. Put us in a motel if nothing is available.
