My complaint:

I asked St Vincent to help me with rent. I am a domestic abuse survivor with PTSD anxiety and depression. My father passed away in February. My was my soon to be ex husband (abuser) calls me from unknown numbers. I typically do not pick up for this reason. Bob from St Vincent called me to let me know his assistant to ask me questions to make decisions to see if I could be helped. She hung up on me when I asked her when she calls me again to call me from a number or send me an email. Bob called me today stating they could not help me. I tried to explain to him I had to help pay for my father’s funeral costs as well as everything I have gone through and he did not care. His response was rude as he said well I had to pay for my father’s funeral. I have been out of work a lot this year due to everything I have gone through in since February. I feel that they were not inly non sympathetic but discriminated against me. I am about to land in the streets without help. This is not Christian behavior. The bible teaches us that we are all the same. I was baptized and made my ation. I work very hard and receive positive feedback for my work. I am about to lose everything I have worked for and after being in foster homes throughout my childhood and working my way to a Master’s degree I am very upset. I look to the church to help guide me. Jesus would not have turned away someone like me. He believed in helping people in need. This includes all races, ethnicities, demographics and I could go on. I am extremely hurt.

Suggested solution:

Please help me by assisting me with rent and food.
