My complaint:
Not only was I accused of trying to steal something, the employee gave the most horrifying attitude in front of other shoppers. Saying it’s her job to pretty much loudly accuse me of stealing. She then proceeded after I made my food purchase to tell me that I had to pay for my non food items that I was purchasing separately. I then tried to apologize to employee for any kind of attitude on my part and she looked at me walked past me and shit the lane down and walked away. I don’t know how you’re corporation can allow an employee to treat a paying customer in a disrespectful manner saying it’s her job to falsely accuse a loyal paying customer of something that was false: and proceed to act as if she were in a lack of better words the most ignorant person I’ve ever come across. I would never want someone to lose their job, but this employee has no business dealing with customers when she wants to act the way that she did and going forward anyone I know I will be telling not to go there because of that.
Suggested solution:
Be treated with respect like a person who shops there regularly. I am a very good friend of the Zailey’s and I know that their store would never treat a customer the way that I was treated. I don’t want someone to lose their job, but that woman should not work there. She is very ignorant, and she embarrassed me for no reason making me look like I was a theif. I believe that you should have a better screening process instead of just hiring anyone because you can teach them things, but you can’t teach people manners or how to respect others, and she absolutely needs it out a decade of learning how to do that. I am absolutely horrified about how your employees conduct business at the shop right on Oregon Avenue is absolutely deplorable and disgusting.. to resolve. The complaint need to start hiring people who know how to speak to others and not start being ignorant especially when the customer when she didn’t have to apologize for the reaction she had one accused.
