My complaint:
Upon having an emergency at home, I was out shopping. On the way home it was needed to pick up some medical supplies as their was an accident at my home. I needed alcohol, bandages, tape, etc…. As I walked into the store a young lady asked where is your mask. I explained that for medical reasons I cannot wear one. She said Our store manager says everyone who enters must where a mask, and medical conditions do not matter. Then the young lady saidI can give youone to wear, I said, I am sorry I just told you that for medical reasons i cannot wear one. Then said said I had to leave. So I walked through the empty store and left. I did not get any medical supplies that I very much needed. The Manager of this store denied me to purchas essential that were needed at this time because I COULD NOT comply.
I was not offered any other help for the essentials I needed. This is a racist gesture and action because I medically can not wear a mask.
Suggested solution:
The store manager should be held accountable and not intervene in something that is a voluntary right.
No one asked if they could help me in any other way. eg.. ask what I needed?
