My complaint:
Today like most every other Saturday or Sunday I went to Shoppers to pick up some items that were in the sales flyer. I grabbed a cart and proceded to gather what I wanted. I started to the check outs only to discover that the people along the isle where the chips are were in the line up to the one andd only cash that was open. I lined up closer to the front thinking I was in a line up for the second cash as I wanted to pick up a lottery ticket for tonights draw. There were two clerks helping people at the self check outs( I refuse to us them and feel they should ALL be taken out) One of the clerks turned around to me and asked if I needed help at the self checkout. I told him I wouldn’t use them and I acked if they were going to open the second cash for those of us who wanted lottery tickets.
He told me he could sell me a lottery but I would have to go to the back of the line, which by now was to the back of the store, to purchase the items I had in my cart.
I grabbed the bag that I had bought and left the store with all the items I wanted to purchase in the cart.
If they can have two people helping customers with the damn self check outs why can they had check outs open for those of us who don’t llike them!
The least they could do is have the check out open that is equiped to sell Atlantic Lottery products.
NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THIS I get my drugs at Shoppers and last year they were in excess of $18,000.
Suggested solution:
Make sure there are enough check outs open Greenwood has a large population of seniors, many of which don't want to use the self checkouts If you have to have two clerks on duty to help people then you should have at least one of them working a cash to wait on customers
