Shopify complaint: Customer Chargeback Failure to Notify me then would not allow me to submit evidence because it was ‘too late’

My complaint:

I was notified that a customer had informed their bank they never received their item that the bank had seized funds from my bank. I contacted shopify as could find no way to submit my tracking info showing delivery to the customer. They said they had notified me previously and that my window to submit evidence had passed. This is not true and they could provide me with no proof of this and have stopped responding to me.

Suggested solution:

They should refund me the fraudulent chargeback order amount as it is their direct fault i was unable to show my tracking info as was totally unaware of what was happening until it was too late.
