My complaint:
On January 15th 2021 I decided to sign up for a free trial with Shaw academy. If I cancelled before 12th Feb I wouldn’t need to pay if I didn’t wish to continue.
I have my PayPal account details which is usual practice during free trials.
On 17th Jan I noticed £44 pending to come out of my account.
I contacted Shaw academy 18th Jan to advise this and request refund.
I was asked to send a screen shot of the transaction to billing department.
Since then I have had various communications by telephone and email but had no success in obtaining my refund.
I have not used this service and have had no gain from it and am adamant I should be refunded.
Please consider this a complaint about the service. I don’t feel they were upfront or clear with their charges and should return the money they took.
