My complaint:
I was offered a free trail, but Shaw Academy asks for payment details and say they will take the money after a month if you don’t cancel. They took £49.99 on the same day Jan 7th. I tried to cancel my membership today 12th Jan and they won’t let me- they tell you to call, then email and wait two days. It’s shocking- the whole thing is a scam. When you call a second time they put you on hold- they know it is you calling as they ask for student number and put you on hold- the message is different to the first time you call. The whole thing is a scam.
Suggested solution:
I want my money (£49.99) refunded and my Shaw Academy account shut down immediately. I do not want Shaw Academy to have my details.
