My complaint:

Greetings,

I was looking at my bank account today and noticed that there was a Membership charge of $45.00 posted on 06042022.
I do NOT have an account with Sams Club. My son does but MY bank account was charged for his membership.

I called the 1-888 and first spoke to Charm who could NOT help or assist me and I asked to speak to the supervisor. She transferred me to Devin (he would not give me his last name. He gave me T then gave me the name of James Devin and said he was supervisor over the customer service escalations department. Whatever. He would not help me because he said I was not on the member’s account (Richard Hogan-my sonAshley Griggs-Hogan-my daughter in law) I said that since my bank account was charged $45.00 for renewal I was added to the account by you (Sams Club). I asked to have my bank account information deleted and the correct bank account to be charged for the renewal fee. Just put it back to the owner of the account and give me back my $45.00. He kept stating that I was not a member. As far as I am concerned, since my bank account was charged a renewal fee, that makes me a member.
Devin stated he called my son and then left a message via email to contact him directly about this issue. I ask Devin, (aka T, James Devin) to call me back when this issued was resolved and he stated he could not because I was NOT A MEMBER. Remember, you guys made me a member when you DEBITED MY BANK ACCOUNT.

Suggested solution:

Give me back my $45.00 that was stolen from me for something I did not authorize nor do I want. Take the renewal fee from the correct owners of the membership.
