My complaint:
Visited my local sainsburys in Fallowfield Manchester yesterday 29th August early evening and after shopping found no checkouts manned..this is the second time in the last week this has happened, I complained to a member of staff on the self service checkout and he opened up a till after I explained I wanted to speak to the manager re no staff on checkouts he explained that all the store workers were working under duress due to the lack of personnel and were constantly being told that they were recruiting staff to fill the shortfall but he said its been like this for far too long and that he hoped I would complain to highlight this issue…I have been a loyal sainsbury shopper for many years but now will consider shopping elsewhere unless these issues are addressed thank you a worried customer
Suggested solution:
Management need to address the staffing issues..I heard several customers complaining of only self checkouts in operation, in your business you need to get it right first time every time.
