Sahara Las Vegas complaint: Not allowed to check in after booking my reservations

My complaint:

My wife and I booked s room at the Sahara for 3 nights. We arrived to check in and was told we will not be allowed to stay at the Sahara. The reason being that my name isn’t on the credit card I am using. One week ago my wife’s purse was stolen along with all of our credit cards. We purchased a prepayrd card and loaded $500.00 on the card before arriving to take care of incidemtals. It bring a prepayrd card my name is not on it. To alieve their concerns I showed them my ID and a receipt showing the card number so it could be seen that my receipt matches the card I am using. Proof of the card being one that I had just loaded with $500.00 along with my ID I felt should be enough that I am willing to go above and beyond to satisfy the need to be sure the card is mine. When that was rejected I offered to leave the front desk $1000.00 in place of the card that was deemed to risky to accept. That was as well deemed unsatisfactory. I don’t understand this hotel not accepting my attempts to satisfy their concerns when two other hotels in the past two weeks graciously understood my drlims and accepted my card along with cash allowing my wife and myself to stay at their hotels. We were told to go to the Westgate. If I wanted to go to the Westgate that is where I would have gone in the first place. My feelings are kinda hurt. I really wanted to make The Sahara the last of three hotels we chose to stay at during our stay in Las Vegas.

Suggested solution:

I would love for The Sahara to accept my money and let me stay at their hotel.
