My complaint:

On the 1st of November I took flight FR8075 from Brussels Charleroi to Marrakech.
I am aware that I needed my passport to travel, however while passing border control I was informed my passport was not valid. I was then informed that I could travel with my European ID card.
While boarding I again asked an employee of Ryanair about the ID card, and again I was told it was ok and was allowed to board with just my ID card.
Upon reaching Marrakech I was informed that I couldn’t enter the country. Following that I had to wait for a return flight to Brussels Charleroi until 2nd of November (19:10h). Unfortunately following that we had to cancel our holiday.

I am completely aware that it was my responsibility to bring the correct documentation. Still if the correct information was given it would have avoided a lot of problems and unnecessary stress.
Therefore my complaint regards the following points:
1) I should have not been wrongly informed that I could enter Marrakech with just my ID card.
2) I should not have been allowed to board the plane.

Additionally I have no been charged several hundred euros for some unexplained reason on my card, to which ryanair does not provide an explanation.

Suggested solution:

Reimburse the money charged on my account.
Reimburse the flights that should not have been taken.
