My complaint:

Hi I attend a day patient appointments on 4th March @12pm for my son Kai nicholl and daughter Lilly-Mai nicholl, to have their tongue tie surgically cut and when arriving all nurses who was seeing to my children was amazing even when updating us on a delay for them to be seen but when the two surgeon that was due to see both my children arrived I felt I was laughed at and not taken seriously or listened to and in a way rude and unprofessional. My partner thomas nicholl was being spoken to by the surgeon who was doing my daughter’s procedure who made a remark of a sexual nature around my partner having no trouble with his tongue ties in for-filly oral to myself and laughing which I feel being around my children was very unprofessional. But it was left at that. But before While they were talking I was talking to the second surgeon who looked at my son Kai’s tongue tie and straight away refused to do the procedure regardless of the referral that was made and myself fighting for help and advice for 2 years. when I tried to speak and have my opinion on the matter and explain what I was told he intruped and kept saying about him not doing it and wouldn’t make a difference. So I stopped speaking as I knew he wasn’t going to listen, so we processed to walk to my partner and talk with him and other the surgeon about my daughter where the same surgeon processed to comment and try to refuse my daughter getting her procedure done and making a comment about her size (weight) and saying she has no problem eating looking at her but I pushed and I was starting to get frustrated I said she will have it.

Suggested solution:

Honestly don’t know to be honestly have have nothing but bad experiences with Brighton hospitals and in further with be looking at other children hospitals for my children to be seen but feel these surgeon need help in manners and how to be professional regardless of how many procedure they have done all children are different.
