My complaint:

I had made a reservation with RAM for a Journey on Sectors; BGF-CMN on 13 Oct 2023 connecting journey to CMN-DXB on 14 Oct 2023.

The RAM Flight AT 284 on 13 Oct 2023 was delayed by 9 hours at BGF and consequently, I missed my next RAM Flight from CMN, AT 246 on 14 Oct 2023. Despite my repeated requests RAM staff at CMN refused to schedule me on any of the flights the same day instead, they scheduled me for a flight boarding after 72 hours.

However, being on a business trip I could not have afforded such a delay and I booked myself with Gulf Air for my further journey to UAE. At the time of transition from RAM to Gulf Air, I was assured multiple times by the RAM Duty Manager that my baggage would be transferred to Gulf Air flight.

However, not only RAM staff at CMN failed to load my Baggage on the Gulf Air flight they kept holding my luggage at CMN till 19th Oct 2023 when I contacted them through my travel agent after 4 days of continuous chase.

Finally I received my luggage after 5 days of EXTREME HARASSMENT MENTAL TRAUMA.

This delay caused me both financial burden and mental trauma as I had no office wear for my important meetings. Besides I also had to undertake journey from Abu Dhabi to Dubai to collect my baggage on 19 Oct 2023.

I have incurred an extra expenditure of about $600 US in these 5 days for buying clothes, express laundry and to fro trip from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.

Kindly refund $600 US to me as compensation for the delay.

Suggested solution:

I must be compensated monetarily as well as an apology from RAM for the insensitivity displayed in over a month now.
