Rowlands Pharmacy complaint: Poor service

My complaint:

I ordered a prescription on 12th March, 2021 and on 18th March my wife went to collect it at 3pm. It wasn’t ready and she was told the pharmacist was at lunch. She returned on 20th and 1 item on the prescription was out of stock.
On 22nd March our friend attended and because she didn’t know which item she collecting the pharmacy said they couldn’t help. I went to the pharmacy though I shouldn’t as I am shielding. I was informed they were out of stock of 7.5 strength ‘Bisoprlolol and could I request a further prescription of strengths 5 and 2.5mg.
I attended the surgery and made the request. The prescription will be at the pharmacy today and I am now out of tablets. I have telephoned but no one answers the phone. The same situation applied yesterday, no one answered. This situation may not have applied had they given my wife a credit card for the missing medication.

Suggested solution:

It would help if they delivered the medication but really they need to be more efficient, five days and the prescription was not prepared is not good enough. People should not have to make repeated visits specially when they have to queue outside, plus answering the telephone may help. Looks to me like a shortage of counter staff.
