Radisson Hotels & Resorts complaint: My room was cancelled at 2am by the hotel leaving me in the cold and rain

My complaint:

I had a late flight into Oslo that was delayed by two hours. The hotel was not answering the phone so I got my booking agent to with the hotel a late check in was ok. No problem they said, room is fine and we are open 24 hours.

When I arrived exhausted after a long delay and waiting on baggage, there was a queue and I find the room was sold to someone else. I specifically stated I wanted that room and was told it was no longer available as they were overbooked. They had no other solution apart from a sister hotel 5 minutes away in a taxi (that would be free) – 20 minutes later after much protests, the taxi arrived and takes me to the hotel;. I have to pay for the taxi (a lie by the hotel) and then I am told the hotel they sent me to has not rooms free, and they knew this. (many other people were there too (another lie) – I ended up in a group wandering around at 2.30 am searching for a room.

Children, families, groups and myself all out searching for room in the cold and wet. A disgraceful act by the hotel, as well as the lies to get rid of us.

Rest asured I will never set foot in you hotels again ( I am a 150 nights away travelling person) – I will make damed sure that anyone who visits Oslo doesn’t stay there either.

Suggested solution:

I want my NOK285 back for the taxi and an apology. I want to know what the room was sold
