My complaint:
I visited the location at Wadley Tower, Baylor Hosp. on 613 to have blood drawn and processed for a CBC. My veins aren’t very good but I do have some where others have gotten blood with no problem with a butterfly. The tech looked at my arms, then the top of my hands and I explained to her my hands were off limits because I had a bad experience in the past with that location. I showed her the areas where blood had been drawn in the past including on the top of my right wrist. She said they weren’t allowed to draw blood from that area. She was snappy and rude. She proceeded to draw blood from the vein which on the underside of my right arm that goes down to my hand. It is a fairly long vein. Now I have a very dark bruise which is about 3 inches by 3 inches and getting bigger. I am also experiencing some numbness in that hand. She had also tried in the bend of my left arm where others had success and she failed.
Suggested solution:
Hire people who are better trained to deal with the public and know how to draw blood!
