My complaint:

This is a follow up email for my initial complaint with CAS- 1934979-Q8T5Y7. It has already been about 2 months since my first email in which i complained about agent,a gentleman at the counter who asked for ccmc form while traveling to Kathmandu, Nepal from JFK Airport NY. We had vaccination forms and PCR results. However, he asked for ccmc form which wasn’t needed as per updated guidelines from the Embassy of Nepal.

We weren’t allowed to fill up the forms as per the other lady who told us that we won’t be able to catch the flight, as it might take more than an hour (while it only takes 15 mins in reality). We had 1 hour 10 mins left before the take off. They asked us to reschedule flight even after our luggage was weighedchecked in. We had one and half year old with us and urgent rescheduling required additional 1432.60 USD. Thus the sole reason for missing our flight was the unnecessary ccmc form which the agent wasn’t updated about and misinformation about timing. We were on time.

We felt threatened by the language of the agent and were under immense stressful situation throughout the day. For your information, the agent in the evening flight didn’t even ask about the ccmc form.

Suggested solution:

We asked in the email to kindly refund our amount of money. However, not even an email about this situation has been sent. It feels like it was intentionally ignored. Our whole day was wasted in NYC with the baby and luggage we had to carry around.
