My complaint:
While in CCU at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca SC, I was choked and hit by my husband. Staff witnessed the abuse but didn’t report it to law enforcement. I have repeatedly been denied access to any information regarding the abuse. All I’m ever told is that my case is being handled by risk management, and no one, not even me, the victim and patient, can get information about it without a subpoena. I have been trying for 6 months now, and still haven’t received any information. I have a right to have access to my own information.
Suggested solution:
All staff who saw the abuse should give affidavits for criminal domestic violence charges against my husband.
